I’ve been writing songs and composing music for most of my life. Over the years, I’ve written everything from folk ballads and fiddle tunes to bluegrass stompers, experimental electronica, and theatrical instrumentals. Some pieces tell stories rooted in local New England history, others reflect my own personal journey, and a few are just wild, joyful sonic experiments. One thing they all have in common: they come straight from the heart and are crafted with care.

Maybe you have a special occasion coming up—like a wedding, an anniversary, or even a memorial—and want something personal and meaningful to mark the moment. Maybe you have lyrics written and need music. Or maybe you're working on a podcast or documentary and need original music to fit a mood or story.

I offer custom songwriting and composition services for individuals, musicians, businesses, and nonprofits. Every song is written from scratch. I don't use templates or stock sounds. I take the time to learn what you're looking for—style, mood, instrumentation, message—and then build something new that fits your vision.

I compose in a variety of styles:

  • Traditional (folk, bluegrass, Celtic, klezmer, etc.)

  • Americana and acoustic singer-songwriter

  • Electronic (ambient, techno, trance, dance)

  • Classical and chamber

  • Film, podcast, and commercial music

  • Experimental or genre-bending hybrid projects

I can deliver lyrics and chords, a lead sheet, or a fully produced recording with multiple instruments. I play violin, fiddle, mandolin, guitar, bass, and work with both real instruments and high-quality digital tools when needed.

Prices vary depending on the scope and licensing (i.e., whether it’s for private use, commercial release, sync licensing, etc.). I’ll give you an honest quote upfront and keep you updated during the process. If you're unsure what you need, I’m happy to walk you through the options.
